1st Annual Nampa School District CTE Ignite Event
Close to 60 students in CTE programs participated in a job shadowing event. Partnering with the City of Nampa and local businesses, students were able to spend time and learn about specific businesses, jobs, and get real-life business exposure. The day started with an opening ceremony with guest speakers Mayor Debbie Kling, Superintendent Dr. Gregg Russell, State CTE Administrator Dr. Clay Long, Mitch Minnette from the Nampa Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Robert Sanchez from Idaho Business for Education. Students spent close to 3 hrs with businesses in the community. Thank you to all who helped support this event!
